JKUK is is adept to working with a range of fabrics and sports garments and offers a full service from design ideas through to pattern-making and grading to sampling before mass production and final delivery. With experience of working on large projects within designated timelines, JKUK is well placed to deliver a unique package to customers.
Retail & Wholesale Distribution
JKUK has developed a retail range under the Crewroom brand which utilises bamboo charcoal technology and promotes a sustainable fabric resource. The range is sold via the Crewroom website and at wholesale to retailers. JKUK also distributes other brands including JL Racing, Boathouse and BooSox.
Sporting Bodies
Sporting bodies require outfitting solutions for elite athletes on specfic programmes and at major international events. Depending on the sport, the requirements for fit and function may vary. For example, a
major requirement of the GB Rowing kit solution was custom design and fitting to suit all body shapes and sizes from junior through to senior athletes and paralympians with specific design needs through to support staff. Fabric selection, sponsor specific branding, prompt delivery and the flexibility to produce fill-in orders were also key to this project.
JKUK has vast expericene in this area and has worked with organisations including UK Sport and Leander Club to deliver completely bespoke packages.
Charities
Charities often participate in or organise large sporting events. The most common and effective way to publicise a charity in such an event is to supply registered participants with a charity branded garment. JKUK can offer a true performance garment which participants will continue to wear long after the event.
As an example, JKUK worked with The Royal Parks Foundation to supply 13,000 running shirts to participants in the 2008 London Half Marathon. On the day, spectators saw a sea of maroon running through the park which indicated that a large majority or runners were wearing their official running shirt supplied by Crewroom. Based on the success of this project JKUK is working with Limelight on future clothing solutions for upcoming events, including the RPF Half Marathon 2009 with 16,000 participants.
